Noah's Pets

Here at Noah's Pet Shop we pride ourselves on helping people find the right pets for their lifestyle. Pets improve your quality of life by providing companionship, stress relief and exercise. Finding the right pet for you, however, is most important. For more information on the pets we offer and whether or not a pet is right for your lifestyle, please read below:

IguanaThe Iguana is a great pet for those with allergies to pet dander. Iguanas' distinct personalities delight their owners. They love to bask in the sunshine and need room to move around. Iguanas can carry salmonella and must be handled properly. If you have very small children, an iguana might not be the right pet for you.

Guinea PigGuinea pigs are small, cheerful pets that are practical for keeping in an apartment. They are very social creatures and quickly learn to communicate their desires to their owners. There are both long and shorthair varieties. Be careful not to keep males and females together!

BirdMany people prefer to keep birds as pets. Birds are beautiful and entertaining. They are relatively low maintenance pets but they do need plenty of attention from their owners. Birds left alone for long periods of time have been know to suffer from depression. Parrots can live into their seventies, so anyone considering buying a parrot must plan for the long term.

FishThe therapeutic benefits of simply watching a fish tank have been known for a long time. Fish are hypoallergenic, reduce stress and they are beautiful. Consider adding a fish tank to your home.

Cats and dogs are the most popular pets, but they also require more work. Many people add a dog or cat to their family only to discover that the responsibility of keeping an animal is too much for them. As a result, millions of dogs and cats are destroyed in shelters each year. Here at Noah's Pets, we work with local shelters to find homes for dogs and cats who need people as much as people need them. In order to assure that every dog or cat adopted through our store finds a lifelong home, we offer free training classes and discounts to new pet owners who adopt an animal from one of our partner shelters.
