Horse trailers must be registered with the Department of Safety within one week of arrival.  Free permits will be available at the Department of Safety, between 7:00am and 3:30pm Monday through Friday, or register online, and you will receive your permit through campus mail.  The following information is required for registration; name of student, state of registration (e.g. VA), trailer license number, and model.  Trailer permits will be displayed on the front of the trailer next to the hitch.  Horse trailers must be parked at the old barn located on Farm House Road.  Call the Department of Safety whenever you need to move your trailer, and an officer will be glad to meet you there to open the gate for you.
